Biography
Loren Depping began playing guitar when he was 19—mostly because he wanted to write songs and found that he was a lousy poet. A guitar seemed helpful. It took him another three years to discover that he could play songs if he strummed chords. He was sort of a slow learner.
Loren has played both solo and with various bands in Oregon and in his previous home of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The most notable of these was Partly Dave, a pop-rock four-piece based in Corvallis, Oregon, between 2003-07.
He has five recordings to his credit—one with Partly Dave. Loren steadfastly believes he was born in Canada and switched at birth. As yet, he has no documented proof of this.
