What have you lost on the road that you would most like to retrieve? I can’t tell anyone – it would be a matter of national security.
Were you ever in a school play? NO. I’m the worst actor. I have, however, always wanted to be in a Kung-fu movie or be a Talk Show Host.
What type of music do you dislike the most? Music has to fit the moment and mood. It’s hard to listen to rock when I’m trying to get cozy with my honey (well, not always). If the music doesn’t fit the mood and moment, I won’t like it.
Favorite pizza topping? Meat, Sausage, Peperoni – no fruit.
Have you ever ordered anything off an infomercial & if so what was it? I had trouble with my e-mail and I ordered a system for “mail enhancement” to fix it. After a few days I started to see an increase in my mail. I stopped using the mail enhancement system and I experienced a drastic reduction in my mail. Stuff works ;-) All time favorite Saturday Night Live character? Steve Martin – I like kickin it old school!
File your taxes at the beginning of the year or wait until April 15th? I wait until April 15th.
Do you have a pre-show ritual and if so what is it? Yes, I try not to eat anything and I drink a lot of coffee.
Favorite song to karaoke to? Summer Wind – Frank Sinatra
Dance halls or County Fairs/Festival? I really enjoy beer, wine and food festivals. Dance halls – not so much, but only if they have some kick’n live music.
If you were to rename the band, what would you name them? The Syob Yellav Nogero
If you were to choose another profession what would it be? I would be a professional poker player.
Jessica Simpson or Britney Spears? Neither – Jessica is too ditzy and Britney is a bit imbalanced.
If you could choose the TV channel on the bus, what channel would everyone else be watching? Discovery Channel
If you could star in a movie who would your female (or male if you're a girl ;) co-star be? Queen Latifah
If they were to make a movie about your life who would you wish they would cast as you? Jet Li
Biography
I was born in the Philippines and immigrated to the Unites States when I turned three years old. One of my favorite pictures was of me getting off the plane with a little baby guitar in my hand. MY folks lived in Atlantic City, New Jersey before they had casinos and we moved to Witchita Falls, Texas when my dad was in the USAF, then we were stationed in Klamath Falls, Oregon. When my dad retired from the USAF, I remember moving to Salem Oregon when the Trail Blazers won the NBA Championship in 1977. I was born in 1967and I started playing the guitar at sixteen. My mom and dad bought me a 60s Harmony H-75 (looks like a Gibson ES335) and a Fender Champ amp. I thought that my guitar was coolest thing back then. My Uncle Vic was instrumental in helping me learn the guitar and taught me a bunch of Beatle’s tunes, and then the Van Halen II album came out which totally blew my mind. Joined the Marines in 86 and served in the Gulf, came back to Oregon, joined the National Guard and went to school. At twenty-one, I re-dedicated my life to Jesus and started living the life of a “born-again” Christian, it’s been an awesome and wild ride ever since. I got married to the prettiest girl in the world and now we have two boys and a little girl. I am proud of my military service and appreciate every veteran and soldier out there doin their thing for the USA here and abroad. I, myself, deployed with Oregon’s 41st IBCT to Kabul, Afghanistan, to help pass the time we started a band called the Fubar Fighters. We rocked the US Embassy. The embassy staff and workers wanted us back to do more shows since we had the biggest turnout and raised a bunch of money from the bar proceeds, but we had to leave and get back home. My passion is following Christ as well as being a husband and dad. To let some steam off, I enjoy reloading and shooting firearms, riding my harley and playing my guitar.
